Situated at the Gateway to the Fjords in Bergen, Alex. Birger Grieg A/S has delivered personal, dedicated and discrete services to high demanding clients and projects since 1891.

We provide a single point of contact to simplify communication and can offer support along the entire Norwegian coast incl. Svalbard via our extensive network.

Superyachts, foreign naval ships and special merchant vessels are amongst the ships most frequently handled by our company. In addition to our Superyacht Services, we are also working as a dedicated shipbroker, within the transportation segment of yachts, fast ferries and heavy cargoes.

The Norwegian coastline is the second longest in the world, which provides you with multiple hideaways. As your local service provider, we will ensure a smooth stay, whether you choose to stay on anchorage, or go alongside to explore the beautiful countryside. Arnfinn Sr. has been in Shipping since 1972. First as a sole dedicated shipbroker and later also shipsagent. His great knowledge about the Norwegian coast and conditions, serves clients with valuable background information when cruising around the Country.

Arnfinn Jr joined ABG in 2008. From handling agencies along the long Norwegian coast his local know-how for leisure cruising the Norwegian Fjords is a great contribution. Arnfinn Jr is board member of Bergen Shipbroker Association since 2013 and board member of Norwegian Shipbrokers’ Association since 2016.

Ingrid first joined sister company Bergen Agent, as a summer intern in 2013. She showed great skill and overview, resulting in Ingrid joining Alex. B Grieg since November 2015.
